Year 6's visit to The Library of
Birmingham
On Monday 19th May, Year 6 took the train to Birmingham to
visit the new library. We were able to explore many of the floors including:
the children's section, where we spent some time reading; the beautiful gardens
on floor 3; the viewing platforms; and the Shakespeare collection on the top
floor. We were extremely fortunate with the fantastic weather and thoroughly
enjoyed our visit. It has inspired many of us to go back in the future and
borrow some of their amazing books. If you haven't been yourself, we would
definitely recommend a visit! Enjoy looking at some of our photographs and let us
know what you think...
It was so fun! Although the viewing platforms were high up, I had an amazing time looking over all of Birmingham. I hope the other year 6's had a wonderful time too!
