Maths in year 3

In year 3 we have been learning all about measuring. This week we are looking at perimeter and on Monday we were set the challenge of designing a swimming pool that would fit into our playground. We came up with some very imaginative designs and used a variety of methods to calculate the perimeters.

Now we just need to persuade Mrs Doherty to have them built!
