Christmas Carol Concert at St Peters Church

Today was the annual Christmas Carol Concert held at St Peters Church. Reception through to Year 6 travelled to St Peters. The children's behaviour was brilliant; they walked very sensibly to the church despite the drizzle and their singing was fantastic which really helped create a magical event. The children told the story of Christmas and shared Christmas poetry. Year 6 brought their Christingles which they held alight at the front of the church. A number of teachers played together a selection of Christmas tunes. With a few Year 6 pupils Mrs Doherty even sang and in German! It really was a great event and the pupils of Chilcote really have done, themselves, the teachers, the school and their parents proud!! Well done everyone.
