On Tuesday 24th February, the Chilcote girls’ football team played their second league fixture against Our Lady of Lourdes school at Edenbridge Rd playing fields.
In the first half, Chilcote started on the front foot and took the game to Our Lady of Lourdes from the off. They took an early lead when Robin raced through and put the ball away. Chilcote had lots of chances and managed to take another 3 before half time. Robyn got a hat-trick and Evie got one. The score at half time was 4v0. All of the girls were really getting stuck in and working hard for the team!
In the second half, things continued in the same vain and Chilcote completely dominated the match in horrendous conditions. Robyn added a further three goals to her tally. One of which was through sheer persistence and determination! Summah also hit a sweet strike from the edge of the area to score her first goal. The game finished 8v0 to Chilcote.
A tremendous performance by the girls who played brilliantly. Well done all!!!
