On Tuesday 4th April Year 1 performed in an Easter assembly with a focus on how Easter is celebrated around the world. The children had been preparing for their performance by learning their words to beautiful songs, using hand crafted props, and learning their narrative lines.
The assembly allows every single child an opportunity to have a moment in the starlight, performing in front of their parents and guardians. The children sang three songs which were accompanied by actions and lots of dancing. The children had a great time and showed great resilience. All Year 1 staff were eleated and very proud of the children's efforts! Well done Year 1.
