On Monday the 13th of June, Year 3 enjoyed a trip
to the world famous Botanical Gardens. The children enjoyed exploring the Victorian glasshouses
filled with exotic plants. The Year 3 children are currently learning about rainforests in their Topic work and learnt lots about rainforest plants. The children had a busy
day enjoyed activities such as; hunting for plants, smelling and touching
produce made by plants, exploring the grounds and play parks, visiting the
butterfly farm, seeing the tropical birds in the aviary and meeting the beautiful peacocks which
roam the gardens. Overall the Year 3 children behaved beautifully and represented their school proudly. Well done Year 3!
