Last Tuesday, all of year 3 went on an action-packed adventure to
Birmingham Airport. The journey there involved lots of walking, two trains,
four train stations and a monorail. Carry on reading to hear what the year 3
children had to say about the trip.
'On Tuesday we first walked to the train station and got on the
fast train. Then we found our seats and sat down. When the train started moving
quickly, it was all wobbly. After the train stopped we walked to the next train
station, New Street. When we got on the train it started and we went to the
airport. Next, we got off the big train and got on the exciting monorail which
took us to Birmingham Airport. Then we excitedly walked to Flight School. When
we got there we made our boarding passes, watched the planes and had lunch.
After lunch we went back home feeling tired. We had a great day and all felt
happy.'
Emelia, 3 Cedar.
‘We really want to go again!’
Jessica, 3 Beech.
'The monorail was like a rollercoaster.'
Aadil, 3 Cedar.
‘We saw some amazing aeroplanes.’
Imaan, 3 Beech.
'If you don't know what a monorail is, it's a small cabin with
little seats and it felt like a rollercoaster!'
Lily, 3 Cedar.
