Year 1 Science Day

Year 1 had an exciting day exploring colour.   We carried out a number of experiements to find out how we could create different colours, using only the three primary colours; red, blue and yellow.   Our challenge was to paint a rainbow with only these three colours of paint!   We also carried out an experiement to see how fast ice would melt if it was standing on different coloured surfaces.  

We also went outside to blow bubbles so we could see if we could spot any colours on their surface.    We had a really great day and really enjoyed ourselves
