Celebrating Chinese New year in Nursery

We have had an exciting day learning about Chinese New Year.   We have made Dragon masks and paper lanterns as well as a dragon's head!    In our PE lesson we used the dragon's head for a dragon dance.   It was great fun!

Nursery in the Garden

The children had an exciting afternoon working in the garden with Dave.   He showed them how to plant bean seeds and how to put plants into containers.  When the plants start to grow the containers will be placed around school.    They brought the bean seeds back to the classroom so that they can look after them until they grow.

Open morning in Nursery

On Monday we had a great time sharing our learning with our families.   Lots of our parents came to join us in Nursery.    We were busy with lots of exciting activities.
