Christmas sing along concert for classes

On Tuesday 19th December, some of our fantastic musicians performed for the whole school- staff and all children from Nursery to Year 6- playing some festive music and allowing their classmates and staff to see  what they had been learning in their instrumental music lessons this term. For our players who have only been learning for one term, it was a very supportive audience for their first concert.

Thank you very much to all our performers- Junior Choir, Infant Choir, Recorder group, our most experienced Dhol Drummers, Orchestra, String Quartet (which now has 7 players!), Year 2 and 3 Violin and Viola players and some Year 4 and 5 Violin and Viola players.

A big thank you to Miss Hobbs- our Strings teacher who has worked this term with the Upper Strings players (Violin and Viola) and also the Orchestra and String Quartet (over 50 pupils!). We really appreciate all your hard work and the support you have given to all of our players.
