On Thursday 6th April eight children from Chilcote represented the school at a mixed swimming gala. The tournament took place at King Edwards Camp Hill pool.
All of the children participated in two individual races and then swam a leg of the medley relay. The races were front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle.
Chilcote as a team amassed 7 wins (including winning both relays), 2 second places, 3 third places, 5 fourth places and 1 fifth place.
This meant that Chilcote scored 63 points in total and finished in second place overall out of 5 schools. They were only 3 points off the winning school.
A fantastic effort by all of the children! Well done to all!!!
